This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by getplynky.com. For everything related to personal data processing, see also our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that the website saves on your device to remember information between visits (e.g. your chosen language or login session). Some equivalent functions are achieved using browser localStorage.
2. Technical cookies (always on)
Essential for the site to work and do not require consent (Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code):
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Stores the selected language (it/en) | 1 year |
| a_session_* | Authentication session (Appwrite) | Session |
| client_name (localStorage) | Stores the name entered by visitors on shared approval pages, so they don't have to retype it | 1 year |
| plynky_consent | Stores your cookie banner preferences | 1 year |
3. Analytics cookies (require consent)
Activated only if you consent via the banner. They help us understand how the site is used in aggregate form.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: anonymously distinguishes users | Up to 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics: distinguishes users | 24 hours |
| _gat | Google Analytics: throttles request rate | 1 minute |
We use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are not set until you give explicit consent.
4. How to manage preferences
You can change your choices at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings; some site functions may not work properly.
5. Third-party cookies
Analytics cookies are set directly by Google. Their privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. More details on sub-processors are in our Privacy Policy.
